With all the hype surrounding this years draft class (and FA signings), it is hard to see many gaping needs at this point in time; however, due to the lack of news and subsequent thirst for information, I felt it would be appropriate to open a discussion on our draft needs in 2014. My pick is going to be left tackle. As much as I love Michael Roos, he will be 32 when he hits free agency in 2015. Assuming we have no glaring needs when May rolls around (fingers crossed), I think it would be smart to take a talented LT in the first, and let him "sit behind" Michael for his last year under contract.
Feel free to give me feedback on your thoughts about this post, as well as any other positions that may need filling.
