The Titans have a couple more prospects scheduled to visit after a whirlwind free agency with Johnathan Cooper and Brian Schwenke. The Cooper visit isn't totally unexpected as he's been recently mocked to the Titans in several mock drafts. What's surprising is the Schwenke visit given the interior offensive line signings in free agency.
Cooper is challenging the long held belief that Chance Warmack is the best guard in the class as of late. He's getting closer but Warmack is the better prospect of the two still. Cooper is more of the technically sound of the two but Warmack is more of the straight in your face mauler type. If I had to give pro comparisons right now, Cooper's game compares to Steve Hutchinson (back in his prime Hutch) while Warmack is to Larry Allen.
California's C/G Brian Schwenke has had an outstanding draft process. He drew rave reviews at the Senior Bowl for his work. He's one of the better center prospects in the class but can also play guard in a pinch. Schwenke is a smart player (you have to be given Cal's academic standards) and a mid round prospect. If the Titans were to draft him, he would likely move Fernando Velasco over to Guard and work at Center in the long run. The signings of Rob Turner and Chris Spencer would likely relegate him to the bench where he can sit and learn the pro game for 2013.
One of draft's hottest players is Oregon's Dion Jordan. Visited ARIZ, JAX, PHIL, still scheduled to go to NYJ, TB, BUF, TEN, PIT, DET, CLE.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 4, 2013
