Draft Pick Percentage (DPP) for the Tennessee Titans


The following is the DPP for the Tennessee Titans:

Round 1 - 50% Offense / 50% Defense - QB, WR, and CB were drafted 20% of the time, RB, DE, DT, and S were drafted 10 % of the time. The Titans have not drafted a FB, TE, OT, G, C, K, or P in the 1st round in the last 12 years.
Round 2 - 38% Offense / 62% Defense - RB, DE, DT, LB were drafted 15% of the time, WR, TE, OT, CB, and S were drafted 8% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a QB, FB, G, C, K, or P in the 2nd round in the last 12 years.
Round 3 - Offense 53% / Defense 47% - WR and TE were drafted 27% of the time, DT was drafted 20% of the time, LB and CB were drafted 13% of the time, RB was drafted 7% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a QB, FB, OT, G, C, DE, or S in the 3rd round in the last 12 years.
Round 4 - Offense 35% / Defense 65% - LB and CB were drafted 22% of the time, WR was drafted 17% of the time, OT, DE, and S were drafted 9% of the time, RB, G, and DT were drafted 4% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a QB, FB, or TE in the 4th round in the last 12 years.
Round 5 - Offense 50% / Defense 50% - DT was drafted 21% of the time, RB, WR, LB, and S were drafted 14% of the time, TE, OT, and G were drafted 7% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a QB, FB, C, DE, or CB in the 5th round in the last 12 years.
Round 6 - Offense 67% / Defense 33% - WR was drafted 20% of the time, FB, OT, CB, and S were drafted 13% of the time, QB, TE, G, and DE were drafted 7% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a RB, C, DT, or LB in the 6th round in the last 12 years.
Round 7 - Offense 40% / Defense 60% - CB was drafted 20% of the time, WR, and DT were drafted 15% of the time, G, DE, and LB were drafted 10% of the time, RB, OT, C, and S were drafted 5% of the time. The Titans have not drafted a QB, FB, or TE in the 7th round in the last 12 years.

A couple notes:

Titans have not selected a Guard before round 4 in the past 12 years

Titans have failed miserably at developing WRs - 19 in 12 drafts - Wow!!!
