The Panthers need help at safety and wide receiver but they need a defensive tackle and they select Shariff Floyd from Florida. He is a massive presence on any line and was a key player in the Florida defense that went to the Sugar Bowl this past year. He has great leverage and a high motor and will pursue the ball. He doesn't have the best stats in the world, only 4.5 sacks the past two years, but he is still affects the game in every way.
