Titans sign C/G Rob Turner

Al Messerschmidt

The Titans have agreed to terms with former Rams center/guard Rob Turner.

Turner (a 6 foot 4 308 pound offensive lineman) has been in the league six years and started every game during the 2012 season for the St. Louis Rams. Turner played with the NY J-E-T-S (suck suck suck) prior to joining the Rams last season. This is an intriguing move on the Titans part. It has been said that he could make a push in camp to start at right guard, others believe that he could be Eugene Amano's replacement. This is a solid signing IF that is the real intention of bringing him in...not so much if he is going to be expected to start. It's going to be interesting to see if this decreases our "chances" of taking a guard in the first round of the draft in April. Talking heads around the league and interwebz have slowly been seperating the Titans and Warmack/Cooper since we have picked up Levitre.
