Your Daily Serving of Titans' Linkage!
The combine is almost complete, as today will be the last day. Noles had done a great job of recapping each day and I wanted to give him a shout out for all the work he's done this weekend. DBs work out today and I'm guessing Tyrann Mathieu will get a lot of attention from scouts. Should be interesting how Elam and Reid test too.
Jeff Fisher "lauds" us for picking up Gregg Williams. I find that funny considering Fisher didn't want him anymore.
Da'rick Rogers formerly of the University of Tennessee, really impressed Mike Mayock. The off the field stuff he had at UT will stay with him, but by all accounts, he's a changed man with some serious football potential.
Here's some news on threeVols' prospects at the combine, Patterson, Bray, and Hunter.
The Titans expect to see improvement out of Jake Locker, especially since he should be healthy this upcoming year. They would also like him to stay healthy. Marvelous idea. Also the Titans visited with Kyle Long the OL prospect out of Oregon. He's a guy the Titans could coach up to be one of, if not the best guards in this draft, and possibly even OL period in this draft.
Small school players getting their chance to shine at the combine.
Steve Mariucci puts Matt Barkley in a simulated15 minute interview. I wasn't that impressed by him, but he's not gonna say much on camera.
Titans are interested in Steve Breaston reports McCormick.
