George Wilson visited with the Tennessee Titans and everything was "very positive" according to Jim Wyatt.
George Wilson visited with the Titans this week, and had a very positive visit according to Jim Wyatt. Of course Wilson also had very similar things to say about his visit with the Detroit Lions, but that is to be expected with a guy who is trying to keep his options open.
Here is part of what he told Wyatt:
They made it quite clear what they are looking for from me, and I think I fit the bill for what they are looking for as well.
One thing that might work in the Titans' favor is all of the ties Wilson has to the team.
He played for Jerry Gray and Gregg Williams in Buffalo.
He was college teammates with offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains at Arkansas.
He is from Paducah, KY, and a lot of times it is important for guys to play close to home late in their careers.
The Wilson sweepstakes is far from over, but I really like him for the needs the Titans have.
