Paul K talks about how George Wilson could fit in the plans of the Titans or the Colts. Here is what Scout Inc. had to say about Wilson.
Wilson is a big, physical safety with excellent power. He bounced back from injury to have an excellent 2011 season. He lacks great speed and lateral burst to close in the open field and is most effective attacking the line of scrimmage. He anticipates well and maintains leverage best in combination zone coverages. Wilson has some limitations, but he brings toughness and attitude to the Bills' secondary.
I like the sound of that quite a bit. PK also lists William Moore as a potential FA fix, and I'd be on board with him too, assuming the Falcons let him go.
Sylvester Croom was on 104.5 yesterday talking about the running backs. He says that you need two backs in this league if you want to truly run the ball effectively. I couldn't agree more.
The behemoth that is Chris Canty visited the Titans and is now on to visiting the Chiefs. He is a pass rushing DT, and I'm glad the Titans are interested in him. Casey/Canty and Martin/Klug would be a solid rotation of DTs.
Matt Hasselbeck and a former teammate of his in Seattle are teaming up to try to sell a product that would tell coaches when a player might have suffered a concussion and needs to be checked out extensively.
Charles Davis of NFL.com talks about why the combine is so important.
Michael Vick is going to be back with the Eagles this year in a competition with Nick Foles/anyone they draft for the starting spot.
The Alex Smith market should increase seeing as one potential FA is already off the board. I saw somewhere earlier that the Bills in the interview process asked coaches if they would be comfortable coaching Alex Smith.
NFL Network tries to guess where some of the top RB free agents will be headed.
