"No way" Chris Johnson would consider a pay cut

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

CJ has always been about mo' money. It seems nothing has changed.

This is going to come as shocking news, but Chris Johnson would not consider taking a pay cut to stay with the Titans next season.  OK, so it actually isn't the least bit surprising.  CJ has always been about himself first.  Don't believe me?  Read this quote from Johnson via Jim Wyatt:

I know I am way better than trying to get 1,000 yards in the last game,’’ he said. "But looking at the situation, it is a whole bunch of things that go into it. So I don’t get too down on myself. I know when I get the ball and put in the right situation I can still do the same things.

There is a lot that goes into the situation, Chris, like you not running the ball hard on about 50% of your runs.

I realize the line hasn't been good, but CJ wanted more money because he was a "playmaker." He got that money, but hasn't held up his end of the deal. I hope Sunday is his last game in the two-toned blue.
