So the NFL annalists ask the question, " If Jim Schwartz doesn't take the Lions to the playoffs, is he done for in Detroit?". Now those who remember Jim Schwartz remember him being the DC for the Titans a few years back. So Here is my question. If Schwartz is let go from the Lions, do we go after him? Remember when Jim Schwartz orginally went to the Lions they haven't won a game that previous year. Now they seem to stay competitive every year. One thing what I love about Jim is they way he runs the front 4 in Detroit is a lot of how we use to run it back under Washburn (and personally my favorite) style of defense Line play is simply where you get the biggest and baddest guys up front and you collapse the pocket fast with powerful guys. That's what he did with guys like Hansworth and KVB is exactly what he is doing with guys like Suh, Just imagine what he could do with a guy like Casey . I think Jim Schwartz is a great coach that if cut I would love to bring back to TN. I think the familiarity with the Titans and us with him would and should make him a candidate providing the right situation were to present itself.
Anyway, I haven't seen anyone more mention this and I understand there are several big IFs to this. But I'm just seeing what you guys would think if this situation were to present itself to us would you want to do it if you were the Titans?
