That's all I'm hearing on the site these days... well, except the "Tebow Time" line, but might as well with all the epic freak outs. (Not that those freak outs aren't merited, because they are after having less than a 35% win percentage vs. the AFC South over the last 3 seasons and losing one game annually to an opponent that is the equivalent to the Bucksnort School of the Blind).
Look. I think that loss to the Jags yesterday was probably the worst loss in Titan history (given the circumstances), but the season is hardly over.
Do Munch and company deserve the blame? Mostly, yes. But where were the Titan team leaders in this game?
CJ? 2 very uncharacteristic fumbles and a lack-luster performance vs a defense that couldn't stop a limbless torso from scoring.
Locker? Broken. Sadly again.
Wright? See 1 above.
Pollard? Getting crazy penalties that kept the Jags offense in the game.
Casey? Killing everything in sight and collapsing the entire Jags o-line most of the game. Can't blame him at all.
The offensive play calling was probably the worst we've ever seen and that the Titans played flat from the opening seconds, but they did make a valiant effort to come back at the end... until Fitz handed the ball off to the Jags for a TD. I'm not giving up on this team just yet although you won't hear me defend the coaching staff again unless the Titans are still playing when the playoffs roll around. Can't see how that is going to happen with Fitz as the starting QB. And I never thought I would be saying this, but you won't hear me blast anyone for saying, "Tebow Time" either. It's hard to make an argument against it with what happened yesterday.
In your opinion what has to happen for the Titans to make it to the playoffs this season? Discuss below.
