NFL Fantasy Football Week 8 Waiver Wire Studs

Washington tight end Jordan Reed runs with the ball against the Chicago Bears - Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Week 7 of the regular NFL season is in the books and fantasy players have to deal with bye weeks in addition to injuries and under performance. Who leads the list of Wee 5 possible waiver wire studs? We're here to answer your questions.

Week 7 is in the books and it's time to check the waiver wire list for possible bye week and injury replacements. Here is the top 5 five list of possible waiver wire studs for Week 7.

TE Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins (27% owned)

Jordan Reed has quickly become one of Robert Griffin III's favorite targets and most dependable options. With a catch rate of 81%, the rookie is delivering big time in Washington. Reed is the second leading receiver with 26 receptions (30 targets) for 298 yards and 2 touchdowns.

RB Jacquizz Rodgers, Atlanta Falcons (55% owned)

Jacquizz Rodgers makes the list again because he still isn't owned enough and injuries are decimating the running back position. With Steven Jackson still out, Rodgers is featured in both the running and passing game and was targeted in the red zone Sunday with Roddy White out. He had a team high 9 targets in the passing game. Look for Rodgers to continue to get targets and carries as the Falcons are decimated by injury at the skill positions.

WR Marvin Jones, Cincinnati Bengals (3% owned)

Marvin Jones is seeing his opportunities rise as he continues to make the most of them. Jones has scored in back to back weeks as the Bengals are starting to throw the ball more. In the past 2 games, Jones has 7 receptions (11 targets) for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns.

TE Garrett Graham, Houston Texans (39% owned)

I had Garrett Graham overrated initially because of the options in front of him but with Owen Daniels going down with an injury that put him on injured reserve with the designation to return. Garrett has been relatively quiet but the Texans quarterback situation has been well interesting to say the least. Third string quarterback Case Keenum is now starting and had a pretty nice game against a tough Kansas City Chiefs defense. Expect Keenum to get another start and Graham to get some action.

WR Terrance Williams, Dallas Cowboys (50% owned)

Terrance Williams has now completely overtaken Miles Austin (shocking I know) and is the third leading receiver for Dallas behind Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. On the year, Williams has 24 receptions (28 targets) for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns. That is a whopping 86% catch rate.

Bonus pick:

QB Jake Locker, Tennessee Titans (8% owned)

Jake Locker isn't yet 100% but he looked good in his return Sunday against a very good San Francisco 49ers defense. The Titans are on a bye but those looking for replacements would be wise to pick him up and stash him until his return. He should be close to 100% if not completely healed then and should feast on a St. Louis Rams defense that is ranked in the bottom of the league in virtually all categories.
