Championship Sunday kicks off in Atlanta this afternoon with the 49ers and Falcons. Can the Falcons score enough to keep up with the Niners?

The NFC Championship game kicks off at 2 central this afternoon on FOX and you will get to hear the man who constantly seems annoyed, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. The Atlanta Falcons are a three point underdog at home in this one.

Matt Ryan finally got the proverbial playoff monkey off his back last week with the win over the Seahawks. Now is the time where he can write his legacy. The key for him in this game will be taking care of the football. The 49ers have a really good defense, and they thrive on getting takeaways and giving their offense a short field.

Getting that short field was really important to the San Francisco offense with Alex Smith under center, but now that they have Colin Kaepernick out there it hasn't mattered as much. They are really fun to watch on offense.

I will be cheering for the Falcons in this one, but I have a feeling they are going to have a lot of trouble stopping the Niners offense. Then it will come down to Ryan and if he can lead them to points against that defense.

It will be close for a while, but San Francisco pulls away late 34-24.
