Now that the real refs are back, we should expect a lot of changes going forward. The biggest change that some people may not consider is how rules will be enforced.
Underperforming players that were drafted highly should start to regain their 2011 form. I predict that the stud QBs (Brady, Rodgers, Brees, et al - maybe even P. Manning) will start carrying fantasy teams just as people have hoped.
In a complimentary fashion, WR and TE numbers will go up, too (someone's gotta catch those passes!). So if you're freaking out about your team and wondering how you could have a losing record -- just wait it out. Things should come back. Conversely, the sharks out there will try to fleece the n00bs with a (by season's end) lop-sided trade.
This won't affect all QBs equally. Veteran QBs that have timing patterns down will reap the greatest benefits as DBs can't maul the receivers as much. For the Titans, I can't say with any force how Locker will be affected. His stats vs Detroit were from big plays - those should still be there. ...But I would venture a guess that Wright's value will raise tremendously.
So take this free advice and do with it what you will. You might have another week to wait as the real refs get their bearings and all the teams adjust to the calls again.
