Eye on the Draft (Much too early edition)

I am going to (hopefully) start giving you guys a list of some college players to watch for, as the season goes on every week or so. Some players will be well known, while others fly under the radar a little this week's list will consist of 5 players. Hope you guys enjoy!

Disclaimer: The guys listed are not necessarily going to be available when our pick (32nd) comes up.

Four of my players to watch come from the Vols game this weekend;

Dallas Thomas OT, Tennessee: While he doesn't get the hype as some other offensive lineman do, namely the beastly Alabama O Line, Thomas is solid. It will be interesting to see how he holds up against a strong Georgia D Line.

Speaking of which, my next 2 players are none other than

Jarvis Jones, and John Jenkins: Jenkins is a massive man at 6-4 358 lbs, but he can really move for a big guy, reminiscent a little bit of Vince Wilfork. Jones, may or may not work out in a 4-3 but he has shown that he is a really special talent, and it should be worth a look how he does against Tennessee's line.

Next up is the last player from this game. Shawn Williams, Safety for UGA. He's got pretty good size at 6'0", 219 lbs, and can do pretty much everything. He may have his hands full making sure Patterson and Hunter aren't running wild in the secondary.

Last player to watch for this week is Superhorn's own Kenny Vaccaro. The supposed knock on The University of Texas' star safety is that he doesn't support the run very well. He will get plenty of chances against Oklahoma State this week and their own Joseph Randle, IMO a solid running back. His cover skills are good if not great, and could be a late 1st rounder at this point.

I promise that my later posts will feature players on big and small schools alike, well known and lesser known prospects, I do not discriminate. Yes noles, I'll even try to get a FSU guy on here. Hope you guys enjoy this!
