Darius Reynaud earns AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against the Lions.
In what should come as no surprise to anyone, Darius Reynaud has been named the AFC Special Teams player of the week. Reynaud threw a perfect lateral to Tommie Campbell that set up a punt return touchdown:
He also had a 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdowns that was set up by a vicious block from Taylor Thompson:
It is funny how far Reynaud has come in a week. You might remember that he was benched at the end of the game against San Diego in favor of Lavelle Hawkins. Alan Lowry was asked about that on the radio this week, and he said that they decided Reynaud deserved another chance. Good call there, Alan.
The Titans will need another couple of plays from Reynaud in this week's game because moving the ball against the Houston defense is not going to be easy. He probably won't have another game like this one, but he could still be the difference maker.
