It was announced today that Kenny Britt will travel to New York on Monday to meet with NFL officials. This is not a surprise to anyone, and it is actually good to have a date set. Britt will probably get a verbal lashing from the commissioner while he is there and a couple game suspension a week or two later.

Britt was working out yesterday while the team was practicing, and he looked to be moving around pretty well. He wasn't doing any running, but he was walking without a limp. That is a good place to start.

This is usually the place where I would talk about how this meeting will hopefully make Britt see the light and he will straighten up. There is really no sense in going through all of that with Britt at this point. He will get his suspension this time. Maybe that will be what gets his attention. Then again, maybe it won't. Only time will tell.
