Let me start off by saying that my football knowledge is probably slightly above average. This means i know the rules, can feel confident about missed/poor calls on the field, and basic overall strategy. It also means that nuances like OLine play and terminology are a mystery to me.
With that being said, I'm a little concerned with the ability of this team to pull off a successful screen pass. My concern comes from this. Back when the previous #10 was throwing the ball, I recall the Titans being poor in the screen game. Supposedly this was because that QB was erratic with the ball. His side arm release made it hard for the receiver/back to pick up the ball, etc. Now, we have an improved #10 (LWSS), but our screen game still results in dropped balls by the backs. So, am I reading too much into this? Have we simply employed running backs with bricks for hands? Is it somehow related to our poor OLine?
Ok, let the "this guy doesn't know what he's talkin about" crap begin. It'll make me feel better. :)
