I know it's just the pre-season, BUT just for the fun of it here are my 3 key "reads" for the regular season:

1) this season will be more about the defense than offense; I believe we will rank in the top 10 defensively (good shot at top 5); at least two of our defensive lineman will tally double digit sack totals (highest sack total in 2011 was Klug with 7); we will double our interceptions from last year (11)

2) offensive production will look like "Dr. Jeckle" and "Mr. Hyde"; there will be some great games and some ugly games; run game will show limited improvement (fewer negative yard plays, but still inconsistent yardage); passing game will be streaky with more yardage, but more interceptions (had 14 last year). This is reasonable with a new QB.

3) as a result, it will likely be another season of "on the playoff bubble", around .500 or a game or two above in W-L.

I know this is not wildly optimistic, but this is being realistic. I BELIEVE THE YEAR OF THE TITANS WILL BE 2013 SEASON. I can see us definitely contending for the AFC Championship game, possibly the Superbowl in 2013!
