Report: Kenny Britt Arrested for DUI

Seems like he will always only be this close to being great. (Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)

Paul Kuharsky just tweeted that the Wake Up Zone, a radio show here in Nashville, is reporting that Kenny Britt was arrested for a DUI at Fort Campbell. For those of you who are not familiar with Tennessee/Kentucky, Fort Campbell is a military base that sits on the state line of Tennessee and Kentucky an hour or so north of Nashville. Kuharsky says that the guys on the Wake Up Zone said that Tommie Campbell and a female solider were with Britt when they were stopped at the gate to the base.

I don't think I have to go into a long thing here about how disappointing this is. Britt has stayed out of trouble since last offseason, and it looked like he had turned the corner. At this point it is hard to really expect anything from him this season considering he, reportedly, has just gotten arrested again and had another knee surgery a month ago.

Here is the statement from the Titans via Kuharsky:

We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering more facts."
