NFL Supplemental Draft Set For July 12

Stay connected for news and updates

The NFL has reportedly set July 12th as the date for this year's supplemental draft. The supplemental draft is one of those things that is over-hyped by people because it is an NFL product. There is rarely a player worth giving up a pick in the next year's draft to acquire.

Last year's draft was one of the more interesting because it featured Terrelle Prior. To no one's surprise, the Oakland Raiders took him in the third round.

The full list of players in this year's draft is posted after the jump.

The following is the complete list of players eligible for the July 12 draft:

  • Boise State DB Quaylon Ewing
  • Baylor WR Josh Gordon
  • Syracuse RB Adam Harris
  • Iowa State T Adrian Haughton
  • Carson-Newman LB Larry Lumpkin
  • Georgia DE Montez Robinson
  • McMurray WR Houston Tuminello
  • TCU RB Ed Wesley

Gordon is probably the only player that has a chance of getting picked. He has the physical tools but has a lot of off the field issues.
