Adam Caplan wrote an article today reviewing the Tennessee Titans' draft and looking at the holes that they still have on the team. He had a lot of good things to say about Kendall Wright and Mike Martin. Here is my favorite part of the article:
The Titans are no longer a team that is built to win with its running game and defense. Instead, since former head coach Jeff Fisher’s departure, they’ve become a passing team that will have to throw the ball to win consistently. That could explain why executive vice president/general manager Ruston Webster went with WR Kendall Wright with the team’s first-round pick.Mike Clay of Pro Football Focus tweeted the other day that the St. Louis Rams currently have nine(!) tight ends and two fullbacks on their roster. Those are the days of Jeff Fisher that are now gone. It is exciting to see this team finally transition into the 21st century.
Caplan gave the Titans a B overall for their draft.
