2012 Titans Draft Picks: Mike Martin Approval Poll

Stay connected for news and updates

ANN ARBOR, MI - OCTOBER 29: Mike Martin #68 of the Michigan Wolverines gets around the block of Peters Drey #67 of the Purdue Boilermakers on his way to sacking Caleb TerBush #19 for a saftey at Michigan Stadium on October 29, 2011 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)

I am no psychic, but my prediction is that this poll will have the highest approval rating of all of the picks. Everybody seems to be really high on this pick. It marks the second year in a row that the Titans have used a third round pick on a defensive tackle, and the second year in a row that the pick has been universally loved.

I might not have been sold on Martin at first, but after I heard that he was a "wrastler" I was all in. Actually, listening to Mike Munchak talk about how hard a guy like Martin is to block is what sold me on the pick. If anyone would know about that, it would be Munch. He isn't in the Hall of Fame for nothing.

It will be interesting to see how Marin does on passing downs. Hopefully he can use some of that "wrastling" knowledge to collapse a few pockets.
