The Tennessee Titans really did a good job last season given the limited time to set up a whole new...well..TEAM. From the front office to the coaching staff as well as a bunch of new players (rookies/FA), we wen through a complete overhaul from top to bottom. I for one was very skeptical of the "Thorchak" higher (not because he was not a good line coach, i.e. HOF lineman) but just because he was a Fisher guy and I was sick of that type of team/coaching. Don't get me wrong I still love "The Stache" and he will always hold a special place in my heart but it was time for a change. I wasn't sure that Munchak was the man for the job is my point. With all that being said I was proven totally wrong in my thinking after the first few weeks, witch was a good thing. Now to get back on track here... We [Titans] had basically no offseason/prep time withall that was the lockout and we very much over achieved with a lot of unknowns and pieced together players. Not to mention the cj2k holdout. That really bit a lot of people the wrong way, then he didn't perform and the OL sucked running the ball as well. They [coaching staff/FO] did a very nice job in the draft but no one could perdict how well they did. With all that being said, We were able to see that our new team has an eye for talent and will be able to do much with the incoming class of rookies/FA. With the whole offseason to coach guys up and install our true Offensensive and Defensive schemes this team is poised to make waves in the AFC even with "The toughest schedule ever". Jerry Gray is an excellent game planner as a coordinator and can make adjustment on the fly (unlike some of our previous DC's) and he also does a great job, so far, of working his plans to the strengths of our personnel and not trying to just do what he has on his paper. Munchak is well versed in "Coachspeak" but other than that he does very well with manageing his players and personnel as well as game planning each week. All in all the offseason will allow this team to come together and for Cj2k to become his old self with his (paid offseason) workout program in Nashville and a revamped OL. With a full offseason we will become, or at least get headed in the right direction, The team all of us wish for every season. Bottom line is the Offseason means everything to the Titans. On a side note: Mike Martin will be a BEAST nest to Casey and Klug!!!! LWSS!!!!!
