Dan Kadar of Mocking the Draft has put out a 2nd round mock draft this morning. Again, there is still a lot of talent left on the board. It would be really awesome if the Titans would trade up to get a guy like Peter Konz or Andre Branch.
Dan has the Titans taking Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State with the 52nd pick. Here is what he had to say about the pick:
The Titans have a good rotation of players at defensive tackle, but not a big-body plugger. Worthy has a motor that runs hot and cold, but Mike Munchak would likely be able to light a fire under him.
While I would rather see them add a pass rusher with this pick, there isn't a guy of value if it plays out like this. Worthy would no doubt fill a need. The Titans got gashed up the middle against the run last season. This pick would fix that problem.
