For the people out there who are wondering where Kendall Wright will fit in the Tennessee Titans offense, I present to you part of what Russ Lande (Russlande.com) had to say about Wright in his draft guide:

He has the foot quicks and agility to change directions fast to make tacklers miss out in the open field. His combination of hand/eye coordination, body control and jumping ability help him to go up and make great catches on high and off-target passes. Overall, Wright’s rare athleticism compared to the other receivers in this year’s draft and his tremendous on-field production are what make him such a special prospect.

Basically he gives the Titans the vertical threat they need to take the top off the defense. That is something the team desperately needs, and there wasn't a guy on the roster who could provide that. Say what you want about Damian Williams and Lavelle Hawkins, but they do not scare anyone down the field.

Once again, this is a passing league. Tennessee made their passing game a whole lot better tonight when they selected Wright.
