Not to be outdone by his counterpart Mel Kiper, Todd McShay has also put out a new 2012 NFL Mock Draft today (In$ider). He has the Tennessee Titans taking Quinton Coples, DE, UNC. This is the first mock I have seen with the Titans taking Coples.

The problems with Coples are obvious. He was really good as a junior, but he looked to take his senior year off. That has most people worried about what kind of effort he will give at the next level.

With that being said, the Titans would be dumb to pass on him at #20. No one doubts that he has the talent to be a top 10 pick in this draft. That is very good value with the 20th pick.

Coples is also a guy that would bring some versatility. He played defensive tackle his junior year. He might just be the rich man's Jason Jones. A guy that would play outside but could be an effective pass rusher from inside on passing downs.
