1st group I looked at was the DTs, I looked at Poe, Cox, Brockers, Still, Reyes, Worthy, Thompson, Martin, Wolfe, and Ta'amu
Poe - Overrated because of his combine, he IS a very good run stuffer, but that's it, should be a late 1st or early 2nd rd pick, but the combine probably got him to mid to maybe even early 1st
Cox - I think he should the most ability overall of all the DTs, SHOULD be a top 10-12 picks and SHOULD be the 1st DT taken
Brockers - Did everything well this yr, but nothing that made him stand out. He benefits from the conference he played in and the team he played on. Could be a 1 yr wonder.
Still - REALLY impressed me. Was a true on the field leader and have the production to back it up in the tough Big Ten. If we took a DT in rd 1, I want it to be him. The 2 bad gms at the end of the yr are the only knocks, but I'm buying him. (Note for BoschePG....he reminds me of how I felt about locker last yr)
Reyes - Also impressed me with his ability to get to the passer, but was also above avg against the run. I definitely wouldnt mind if he was our 2nd rd pick.
Worthy - Was too inconsistent and his ability didnt stand out more than being a rotation DT. Will go in rd 2, but I dont like it
Thompson - Good run stuffer, he's Poe without the combine numbers, probably worth a late 2nd or early 3rd rd pick
Martin - Just a rotation DT to me, didnt stand out, SHOULD be a 4th rd type DT
Wolfe - A bigger version of Karl Klug, he knows how to get the to QB, had 9.5 sacks at the DT position, reminds me a bit of Tommie Harris when he 1st came in the league except he's not great against the run. Should be taken in rd 3, if he fell any lower, it would be theft for who takes him.
Ta'amu - Another run stuffer, but I think he's a really good one, him and Poe will be the best run stuffers in this draft, but he does nothing else, so late 2nd for him.
