This is pretty funny. Apparently Ryan Mouton saw Tim Shaw in the Titans facility and tweeted out that he had been re-signed before any of the beat guys could get it. A pretty funny exchange resulted on Twitter between Mouton and Jim Wyatt with Mouton saying that Matt Hasselbeck put him up to it.

Shaw was the special teams captain last year. It was remarkable that he was able to take over a role that was previously occupied by Donnie Nickey. It doesn't seem fair to Shaw to have to follow in the footsteps of such a legend.

Anyway, Shaw's agent said on Twitter that the deal is for three years. Shaw was one of the many players who played 2011 under a one-year contract because of all the craziness that followed last year's lockout.
