Breaking news today as Bud Adams has announced that the Titans will now enter the Vince Young sweepstakes. Young was recently cut by the Eagles, where he was the head of the franchise for almost 9 straight months. This came as a huge shock to eagles fans as they were expecting him to be resigned almost immediately. Bud Adams declared yesterday in an interview:"I want him, he's my guy". Bud Adams' private plane was spotted at a small airport near the freeway overpass where Vince is known to reside. Adams also said of Young:"He never really got a fair shake from his previous teams, the Eagles never gave him a shot to start, and the team he was with before didnt realize his true potential". Adams has also stated that he would like to add a "proven commodity" to mentor 2nd year QB Jake Locker, and he believes that the veteran presence Young would bring would be beneficial to the team. The titans might be a little bit late to the race, however, Adams has ordered the FO and head coach Mike Munchak to suspend all FA pursuits and focus on Young. Several teams are already in the running for Youngs services, as he was not expected to be a FA this year.
