Peter King of Sports Illustrated has put out a new 2012 NFL mock draft today. He has listed who he thinks teams will pick and who he thinks the teams should pick. He has the Tennessee Titans taking Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois. He said he thinks the Titans should take Shea McClellin, OLB, Boise State.

King's analysis and some comments after the jump.

Here is what King had to say:
This is a good season: 16 sacks, nine forced fumbles. That was Mercilus's breakout 2011 campaign at Illinois, and that's why he'll be a first-round pick this year. But he's not as versatile as McClellin, whose stock is rising because he has the speed (a 4.6 40 at 260 pounds) to be an edge rusher and is a sure-enough tackler to play inside if needed.

McClellin is a guy who has been shooting up draft boards recently. There is no doubt he has combine numbers that jump off the page, and he did a lot of different stuff in college. He is another guy that would give Jerry Gray some of that versatility he talked about last season.
