I first want to apologize for posting something that has been kicked around here many times BUT....

Wycheck just mentioned on the wake up show that the Titans should consider signing Peyton Manning, and that they had the cap room to also sign Reggie Wayne. While I had thought about whether the Titans should go for Manning, it never occurred to me that they could also get Reggie Wayne. Most of us here would like to see the Titans get a really good wr to pair up with Britt so we can move allstate back to the slot. How would everyone feel about Reggie Wayne being that wr? A lineup of Manning, CJ, Britt, Wayne, and Washington would be the scariest offensive lineup in the league if used properly. Think about how damaging Manning's play action would be if CJ were the guy back there? It was pretty f'n scary when he was just pretending to hand off to Donald Brown and Addai (and those guys are TERRIBLE). Also, how would everyone feel about actually cheering for Manning and Wayne? Bud Adams is on his last legs and wants a Super Bowl badly. I think it is very possible he is desperate enough to make this move. Locker would then have a couple of years to learn the game from a GOAT a la Rogers. Discuss among your selves....
