It has been widely speculated for weeks now that Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne were a package deal. People were saying that Wayne was going to wait out Peyton's tour and take a discount so they could finish their careers together. All of that is now out the window with the announcement tonight that Wayne has agreed to a 3-year deal with the Colts.

I cannot really figure out what it is that the Colts are doing. One week it looks like they are blowing everything up and rebuilding, the next they are signing Reggie Wayne to a three year deal.

I do know one thing, Andrew Luck is a whole lot happier today than he was yesterday. While I don't think Wayne has that much left in the tank, there is no doubt he is a better option than having Austin Collie as the #1 receiver. That is sad too because it was going to be really fun to watch Luck struggle without any weapons.
