Peyton Manning most wants to win a super bowl. It is his main thing. Yes, it prevents them from signing a top tier pass rusher, but Peyton Manning is the single greatest player to ever play the game. I get that we all trained ourselves to hate him for years, but I think we need to spend some time and think...are we really going to not sign Peyton because we are banking on Locker. I love Jake, and tell everyone that he has all the similarities with Aaron Rodgers, and would have been taken over Bradford as the # 1 pick. However, he can have a great 10 year career in a year or two after we make a couple of playoff runs with Peyton. I hated Vince from day one, and I hate Bud Adams a lot of days, but heck, the prime time games, the media attention, the not having to watch Hasselbeck muddle through mediocre games, Jake can learn something from Pey Pey. We just cannot hate them for making a run at him. It probably wont happen, and it may hinder them in free agency, but we need to keep ourselves level headed...that is my rant.
