Gentlemen,

So now I am 20, probably not growing all that much more. I am working on beefing up my jersey collection. I have come to you all for help.

My Jersey History:

Never a big jersey fan...til a few weeks ago...but, I had a Mac 9 jersey when I was a kid. My family moved around a bunch, and it wore down in the wash. Not good, I know.

This fall I acquired a Jake Locker (white)

I have a Jim Craig 1980 hockey (blue) enroute.

I would like to be at 5 solid jerseys in the next 3 years.

I am a die hard Titan fan. I am a conflicted very passionate Met fan. I like Carolina hoops, Georgia Football, and the Rangers. But not really the last 3, I am open to all jerseys.

What inspired me to write this post:

I was looking for a Munch jersey, and I could not find it.

Anyone know where to find a baby blue Munch jersey, not game used, not autographed, for a reasonable price.

All help is appreciated.

I'm a jersey connosiuer (sp?) myself, but it's with mostly current players.

Titans I have: Chris Johnson, Chris Johnson Oilers 09 jersey, Steve McNair, Kenny Britt, Tommie Campbell, Randy Moss, Kerry Collins, a few VY’s, a stitched #84 jersey with no nameplate, and of course, my pride and joy, my Jake Locker stitched personally autographed jersey (meaning I didn’t buy it autographed, I got him to sign it).

Other notables: Eli Manning Super Bowl 42 jersey (fully stitched with the Super Bowl logo on it), Eric Berry orange UT, Eric Berry black UT, Eric Berry Chiefs, Cam Newton, Greg Jennings, Tim Tebow, Maurice Jones Drew, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Cardinals), Percy Harvin, Darren McFadden, etc etc …

As for your jersey, pretty much you’re going to have to go the personalized route. Here’s a few sites I found (they may or may not be dependable, so do it at your own risk):

I am a jersey collector myself

Titans i have: 1 white CJ, 1 afc allstar Cj, 1 throwback finnegan, 1 McNair, 1 Eddie George, 1 Javon Kearse, and I just (yesterday) bought my JAKE LOCKER jersey
other noteables: 76er allen iverson, denver nugget allen iverson, detroit piston allen iverson, michael jordan, michigan mike heart, wizards john wall, 1 bengals chad ochocinco, 1 aaron rodgers, 1 lakers kobe bryant, and my pride and joy 1 CHICAGO WHITE SOX MICHAEL JORDAN BASEBALL JERSEY…..
The only problem is the site i bought them off of got shut down.
Does anybody know where you can buy nice cheap jerseys?

If I were you, I would definitely get a pinstriped Mets jersey of either Tom Seaver or Mike Piazza.

Seaver is undeniably one of the best at his position, and Piazza was unbelievable behind the plate. Of course, you should probably know all about them.

to my knowledge, Munchak jerseys aren’t made by NFL shops which means they likely aren’t made by any of the wholesalers either (if you’re into that kind of thing). your best bet would be to get a customized one.

if you’re open to jerseys just as a collector, might I recommend hockey sweaters? some of the best jerseys I own are NHL threads. especially in a mild winter like this, they’re nice to wear around where you have the chance to go casual.

Good luck on the Munchak jersey.

That would be awesome to get and have him autograph it as I believe #63 is retired.

Also, as a kid, I could have sworn the Oilers “official” color was “Ice Blue” but everything I’ve seen is listed as “Columbia Blue” (as it is now) or “Light Blue.” Throughout that whole “Luv ya, blue” campaign and everything. Where did I get this “Ice Blue” thing from?

Thanks for the responses. D. Reese, I got to agree with you. I have a Jim Craig sweater en route. I am working on developing my hockey fandom…as far as the Mets are concerned, I think I want something off beat, may go in the direction of Seaver but also really like the idea of a Keith Hernandez. The Munchak’s seem a bit pricey, but I may pull the trigger.
