The Food Network show Heat Seekers that airs tonight will feature Jordan Babineaux. The show will be showcasing the Nashville delicacy 'hot chicken', though they shamefully decided to feature a sports bar over legendary places like Bolton's and Prince's. Sure, you're way more likely to get shivved in the parking lot of Prince's, but that's the birthplace of our style of 'hot chicken'... which is exactly what it sounds like, but so much more than you're imagining.
Weirdest Titans-related tidbit from the Super Bowl: former Titans linebacker Rocky Boiman called the game over he radio for the BBC. That's a hell of a leap for a guy who was still suiting up just two seasons ago.
Props to MIA for saluting Bud Adams during the halftime show last night!
Speaking of Bud Adams, congrats to the owner for winning the inaugural Salute to Service Award for his years of work supporting active duty and retired soldiers.

But the 2011 Titans rarely operated with the sort of precision and swagger we saw from the Giants’ offense on Sunday. The run game has a power element Tennessee lacks. And the Titans’ pass rush couldn’t put the sort of heat on Tom Brady the Giants did.
The personnel may be different, but we run a very similar offense in TN. Palmer, Coughlin and Gilbride have worked together for many years in this league. I get into that a little bit in a post that’ll go up tomorrow AM.
I know the Giants just won the Super Bowl and all... but I wouldn't even say their strength is their offense.
Manning-v2.0 had a great 4th quarter, but had pretty much nothing the rest of the game. IMO he is the Perfect Game Manager and that is it.
I’d say the only upgrade over our offense they have is capable receivers.
Their defense and D-line won that game for them.

He's ok for his role, I guess. I wouldn't want him to be the feature back anywhere. He is very good in short yardage though.

Against the 31st worst pass ranking defense in the league.
The Giants offense was completely flat until the 4th quarter. Granted, that’s when they won the game… but that game was never out of Tom Brady’s control, unfortunately he F-ed up just enough to let the game fall through his fingers.

Completely flat?
I felt like they were moving the ball downfield pretty well, just not finishing with TDs, so give some props to that Patriots defense for that. You’re forgetting that they were middle-of-the-pack in scoring defense so they’ll give up the yards but tighten up in the red zone, which is what they did until the very end.

They were moving the ball, but the Patriots were in control of that game until the 4th quarter.

It's good stuff.
Occasionally painful (one store, 400 degrees, has a tagline that their chicken is “so hot it will burn you twice” and they aren’t lying), but very, very, tasty.
Not a huge fan
but I can’t believe anybody would feature any place over Prince’s when covering hot chicken nashville style. It’s like doing “famous nashville tourist attractions” and not mentioning opryland.
When teams like the Giants win the SB, it makes me love the NFL system that much more than college.
So much better when things get settled on the field.
Evidently...the only time to bet against Brady...is when they're playing the Giants!!
In the end, it came down to whose WR’s made catches (in Manning to Manning-ham’s case…unbelievable catches)….and whose did NOT. Brady put his team in position to win…but his receivers didn’t cooperate…and Eli’s did. At least the half time show was pretty good.AND…the commercials. They were good, too.

So I'm a homer and obviously biased but...
How the hell does Peter King leave us out of the best fifteen teams in the league? There are a multitude of reasons we didn’t make the playoffs that were largely self-inflicted, and we did play in a weak division, but he’s got teams like the 6-10 Dolphins and 8-8 Cardinals in there and us looking in. Peter King, you sir, are an idiot.
