Tennessee Titans Open as 40/1 Odds to Win 2013 Super Bowl

Photo

I am by no means picking the Titans to win the 2013 Super Bowl, but if I were a betting man, I would think about putting some money on them at 40/1. There is a lot of work to be none between now and then, but that number seems pretty high. Can someone explain to me why the Dolphins and Cardinals have better odds that the Titans?

How the F- do the Cardinals have a 30/1 odd over us?

they are freakin’ terrible with no stable QB.

better chance to make the playoffs in a weak-ish division (we still don’t know how the 9ers will follow up on this year)

we're gonna skate to one song and one song only.

The way things are looking, other then the Texans, our division would be just as week.

What the heck…

… I’d drop $20 on that.

There’s a better chance of that happening than me winning on the lottery.

Of course, the lottery pays off better if you win…

I like those odds. how are the Eagles 12:1 though? I’d put them behind both the Ravens and Giants next year.

we're gonna skate to one song and one song only.

I agree but i think its more the ravens and giants odds are too long.

The eagles were always going to struggle to get all those new players into a system in one year without an offseason, I said all along that next year they could be a real force, I don’t know about winning it all but id be confident betting on them making the playoffs

Miami with better odds?

Their division is much, much tougher than ours, come on now!

Giants getting no respect AGAIN.

They beat the Pats in the regular season but were underdogs in the Super Bowl. Then they win the Super Bowl—again over the Pats—and still… here they are at 15/1 vs. the Patriots’ 7/1.

And if those two teams played again tomorrow, the Giants would be underdogs… AGAIN!

The NFC is a lot tougher than the AFC and they did go 9-7

Part of that may do with the divisions/conferences they are in.

I would say the NFC is more top-heavy right now than the AFC. You’ve got the Saints, Packers, Giants at the top. Then you’ve got tough playoff-caliber teams like the Falcons who have made it and who knows what a team like the Eagles could do next year.

In the AFC, Steelers are getting old, Ravens I’m still meh on Flacco, Jets are getting old on defense and Sanchez may not be the guy. Houston looks formidable but what will FA do to them? AFC West is a mess pretty much.

Well here's how the odds looked 2 weeks ago when they opened in Vegas

Everything worth listening to is on SiriusXM. I aced the 'trap game' of the century, when the 1-13 Colts beat the 10-4 Texans. They don't call me 'Mr. Vegas' for nothing! ;)

the more I look at this the more I think it’s got to do mostly with the fact that we’ll have a first year starter at QB for at least the majority of a season. I think 40:1 sounds about right when you look at it that way.

we're gonna skate to one song and one song only.
