MCM Community Mock Draft Pick #2
So the Rams are on the clock, after having a rebound year in 2010, they fell off the wagon in 2011 finishing 2-14. This is going to be the first Draft for there new Head Coach Jeff Fisher who we all know and have a love/hate relationship with. It will be interesting to see if the year off from football help Fisher see that having a big powerful RB and hard nose D winning 13 to 10 isn't the NFL of today. However the Rams have that very possibility with RB Steven Jackson who has been taking his share of hits year in and year out as the Rams only play-maker.
Rams Picks: 1-2, 2-1, 3-2, 4-1, 6-1, and 7-2
Rams Final Ranking
Total Offense: 31st
Pass: 30th
Rush: 23rd
Total Defense: 22nd
Pass: 7th
Rush: 31st
Team Needs: WR, OT, CB, OLB
Top Possible Free Agents: Brandon Llyod
Remember to make a pick put the player as the title and nothing more. If that player is already there then put a rec for it. The player with the most recs will be drafted.
For those that want the picked traded down, please say a team and what picks that would be traded. Ex Colts trade 2012 #1 pick to Browns for 2012 #4 & #22 overall picks, 2012 3rd round, 2013 1st and 2nd round picks.
To make it easier here is a Draft Pick Value Chart.
Please do not try to make some of the best players to fall in the draft so that the Titans can draft them.
This pick will closed on Monday Feb. 5th @ 11:59pm CST

Somebody drop a draft pick trade value chart, no way Fisher sits here with RG3 onboard.

That wont be enough for the number two pick surely?
I watch the Music City Miracle every time I visit MCM just because I can
I think Fish would like to trade down, too. If he can.
Unfortunately, I can’t be as specific as TFF would like.
The Force is with you, young SkyLocker, but you are not a Jedi... yet!
This is a tough one
But i think the rams will take matt kalil because fisher already sat down with bradford and talked about the direction their going. If they want to go foward they have to keep him upright
remember if a player has already been stated please Rec that comment.
Also if you would like to explain your reasoning for why that player then reply to that comment. So this comment should have been a reply to NoMoreMustache.
Its ok, we are still trying to work the bugs out.

If the Rams trade down they can still get a OL and a WR
Riley Reiff, Jonathan Martin, Mike Adams are all solid too.
Plus if they drop to 4th they should get either Blackmon or Kalil.

That is if the trade with the Browns as I suggest below.
Man I wish there was an option to edit your own posts.

TRADE: the Browns need Robert Griffin III, and if they don't trade up for him somebody else will.
Browns acquire Robert Griffin III with 2nd pick, give Rams 4th pick, 22nd pick.
The Colt Mccoy experiment is over, he was only a 3rd round pick so not a big deal when the next great thing comes around in Griffin.
I was tempted to have Redskins trade up but of all the teams in the NFL that need a QB the Redskins have the most cap room to sign eventual FA Peyton Manning.

Perfect, now the Rams can grap first round talent at LT and WR.

I would LOVE for this to be a 3 round mock ...perhaps we can have 2 days of voting for the 3rd round, so it doesnt last forever.

This along with the Caption contests (which I may carry forward in the offseason) should keep us entertained for at least 12 minutes the next few months.

Sam Bradford for the Browns two 1st round picks plus 3rd. With the #2 pick the Rams select RG3.

That would be the shock of the draft, or the Browns trading up the 1st and get Luck.

What if its a tie??

well I havent rec any yet so i can break ties.
but if i cant break a tie between players then they both will be chosen and they both can possible selected later in the draft. I dont think that will happen very often.

The Rams trade the #2 pick to the Browns for the #4 and #22 in the 2012 Draft. With that pick the Browns select Robert Griffin the III, QB Baylor.
Please conitue onto the #3 pick here.
