Jason Garrison of SB Nation has put out a new 2012 NFL mock draft this morning, and he has the Titans taking Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama. This is the first time I have seen Kirkpatrick falling all the way to #20, and the likelihood of that happening on draft day seems pretty slim. If it does happen, he would be a solid addition for the Titans.

Here is what Garrison had to say about the pick:

The Titans have two good corners but Cortland Finnegan is a free agent and recent reports have hinted that he may not be coming back. If that's the case, the Titans could use Kirkpatrick and they should be counting their lucky stars that he was available this far down the first round.

I have been on record saying that I do not think Kirkpatrick is worth a top ten pick because he does not have elite cover skills, but he can be a very good zone corner. He is also very physical and would be solid against the run.
