2012 NFL Mock Draft: The Titans and Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
Ryan Van Bibber of SB Nation has put out a new 2012 NFL mock draft, and he has the Titans taking Cordy Glenn, OG, UGA. We have been over this numerous times, but it seems unlikely that the Titans are going offensive lineman with this pick. Everyone agrees that this draft is really deep for interior lineman. There is no reason to use this pick on a guard, especially with Mark Barron still on the board.
Here is what Van Bibber had to say about the pick:
This is probably a little bit of a reach for Glenn. The Georgia product does possess a natural ability on the inside, moving to the second level and pulling effortlessly for a 345-pound man. If the pass rusher picture among prospects were clearer, it would be a wiser pick for the Titans. Keep an eye on Clemson DE Andre Branch or Illinois DE Whitney Mercilus.
How Barron does not get a mention there is beyond me.

I thought Glenn was considered to be a 2nd round guy?
Maybe a 1st/2nd tweener.
I’d be thrilled if we could pick him up in the 2nd round.
"Do the Titans have a miracle left in them in what has been a magical season to this point? If they do, they need it now. Christie kicks it high and short. Gonna be fielded by Lorenzo Neal at the 25; he dishes it back to Wycheck; he throws it across the field to Dyson. 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5, endzone...touchdown, Titans! There are no flags on the field! It's a miracle! Tennessee has pulled a miracle! A miracle for the Titans!"
