Doesn't it take a DC a couple of years for their scheme to start resonating with their players? Isn't 2012 technically Grays first season, because of the lockout last year? Shouldn't our young defense be given more time because of their age, always playing from behind, one facet of the offense being completely useless for a majority of the games(CJ at the beginning/ Hass at times too/ the receivers in the last few weeks), and the onslaught of good QBs they've faced this year.
I may be bias, but aren't their some bright spots we may be overlooking because of the whole historic pace for number of points given up in a season, talking point.
1.Ayers and Brown have progressed nicely
2.D-line has improved from last year
3.ATV and J-mac are balling without a dominate pass rush assisting them
4.They appear to be getting better as the season progresses
5.Defense plays pretty well at home and against divisional opponents
Not trying to offend anyone, just trying to give some credit where I believe credit is due. I know most Titans fans are already looking up the inter webs for possible DC candidates, so if your already 100% done with Gray there's no need to hate post, I'm only asking a question.
I'm almost certain this is the first pro Gray post in a long time, so I don't expect a warm reception, (zipping up bullet proof vest and raising riot shield) I just want to get an idea there's anyone else with the thought of giving him a second chance.
What is your current opinion of Gray so far?

I wanted him fired but if we keep playing well for the last four games of the season I'll think about it (25 votes)
