What do Raheem Morris, Steve Spagnuolo, Mike Singletary, Eric Mangini, Todd Haley, Rod Marinelli, Dennis Green, and Jim Caldwell all have in common?
They all were fired after their 3rd year as a head coach. They all struggled in their first two years, but some showed potential (think Morris, Singletary, etc). And they ALL, WITHOUT EXCEPTION got WORSE their 3rd year!
Recent history shows that coaches who regress early on in their career have little to no hope of improving. We need to get rid of Munchak now (at the end of the season) to prevent another miserable year and get this process started early. Because I am close to 100% positive that we will not improve under him next year.
