Truthfully, growing up in the Nashville area, I wasn't a huge NFL fan until Bud brought the Titans to Tennessee. I've been happily following them since. I now check in daily with MCM, Kuharsky at ESPN, and the Tennessean (in that order). Obviously, our beloved Tennessee Titans are having another crappy season. Sadly, I'm already looking forward to our next draft, and although I never want our boys to give up, I wouldn't mind if they ended the season with 4 wins for better draft picks.
One of my fears is that Tennessee won't sustain a mediocre NFL team forever. With Bud getting older, and our team's success in reverse, should we be surprised if we end up on a short list of possibilities for L.A. to finally land another team? Investments in LP Field were an encouraging sign. Are there other things you see as fans that can ease my troubled mind? For you long-time Oiler fans, did you have any warning signs before Bud packed up the franchise? Thanks for any feedback.
