This was a project. It was clearly a project, and it was never anything but. 9-7 was great last year, we got to watch some meaningful football, and get our players some experience. This season has not been as smooth sailing, but it is important we not let our eyes off of the prize. If there is someone out there, a Harbaugh, a someone, that we want to change everything, then I understand the coaching change. I get the idea of firing our DC, and am behind it. Firing coaches for the sake of firing coaches does not win football games. Whether we like it or not, there is talent here. This team is closer to winning in this league now than it was at the end of last season, and this team is closer to winning now than it was two seasons ago.
If there is a coach that really is can't miss, much like Peyton was this offseason, and Bud bites the bullet, I can support it. If we fire Munch and bring in the likes of Mangini, another teams coordinator, etc. please ask yourself why the heck we made the move. I think that Munch & Palmer deserve 3 years, and we can reassert where Locker, Wright, Britt, etc are. Thoughts?
