Here is something to spark some initial discussion:

We hear the complaint all the time that the Titans don't spend money. While I typically argue with that, this season the Titans still have $14 million left under the salary cap. That is the 4th most in the league, and makes it all the more frustrating that they did not do more in free agency last year. They had plenty of room to sign one of the 45 centers they brought in for a visit.

Now that means they have some room to go ahead and lock some guys up long-term, but the problem is who is on this roster that they need to lock up long-term. I think we can all agree that Alterraun Verner would be a wise investment, but there really aren't many candidates beyond him.
