Some residence of Texas has petitioned the US government to allow the state to separate from the United States. The more I think about that idea the more I like it.

If Texas secedes, the Houston Texans would be no more and the Titans will have a chance to make the playoffs this season.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has made it very clear that the league would not field a team outside of our great country for at least 10 years, so bye bye Houston Texans and so long Dallas Cowboys!

And good riddance Houston Texans! You were the bottom feeders of the AFC since your inception and when you finally won the division, your fans were trash talking as if you were Joe Montana and the San Francisco 49ers after winning back to back super bowls.

But Titans fans should be realistic. If the state of Texas become an independent country, we still would basically have to run the table to make the playoffs this year. The Colts would probably still be the favorite to win the division but we would have a better chance of getting in as a wild card since the rest of the AFC would be weak without the vacating current number seed.

Personally, this reporter is not surprised that Texas wants to secede. Its always been the other way around for years. People have been leaving the city of Houston in droves.

Everyone knows about the Titan's franchise leaving Texas, but I bet most of you are not aware that MCM's fearless leader "Jommy" is a native Houstonian and has vowed never to leave the city. Yes, my research has uncovered the fact that a Jimmy or real name, James Morris, and wife Woeisha and their three kids all live in the greater Houston, Texas area.

I regret that I released that information publicly but Jimmy still refuses to make me a MCM contributor so I had to expose some damaging news about him.
