SoCalTitan Gets Victory Against No Survivors, Tacks On Third Consecutive Win

SoCalTitan got the fifth-highest point total this season on the way to their third win in as many matchups when they beat No Survivors 164.78 - 144.96. The streak has been a windfall for SoCalTitan. They've climbed from 10th place to fifth since Week 8. They're doing it by scoring a lot of points and they own the second-highest overall point total in the league, averaging 142.07 points per matchup. On top of the loss, No Survivors had a starter score zero points (Trent Richardson). No Survivors goes to 2-8 and remains in 11th place. SoCalTitan has now steamrolled Griffey's Taters (154.08 - 94.18) and Team Infinity (183.72 - 162.74).

Redcoat's Return averages 116.91 points per matchup this season, and got 84.8% of that in this one. The matchup was painful for Schrute Farms (5-5, 1,225.00 points), who not only lost, but also ended up 11th in the league in points. Reggie Wayne led Redcoat's Return in scoring this week with 17.60 points.

LWSS (8-2, 1,361.40 points) remains in second place while BassBallers (4-6, 1,094.64 points) stays down in 10th place.

LWSS Smooth Moves

  • Picked up Darrius Heyward-Bey, who beat his scoring projection by 80.9%, with 18.80 points against a projected 10.39.

Mettenbergers took advantage of the second-highest player point total of the week from Tony Gonzalez (35.20) and defeated Griffey's Taters 142.38 - 110.10. With this loss, Griffey's Taters scored 99.5% of their projected points, and has now failed to meet projections for three weeks running. Griffey's Taters was led by Sidney Rice with 19.40 points and Roddy White who scored 18.40. To make matters worse, Griffey's Taters got zero points from the Washington Redskins Defense. Mettenbergers (5-5, 1,270.12 points) climbs into sixth place and Griffey's Taters (4-6, 1,145.14 points) stays in ninth place.

Mettenbergers Smooth Moves

  • Tony Gonzalez ranked second in the league in scoring this week with 35.20 points. It was also the third-highest score of any player on Mettenbergers this season.

Both sides missed scoring opportunities as Team Infinity had one starter turn in zero points and Mean Machine had three. Team Infinity (6-4, 1,387.70 points) remains in fourth place and Mean Machine (1-9, 978.64 points) is still looking up at everyone from the cellar.
