I'm only 22, but I've been a Titans fan since they came to Nashville in '99. This season so far has been painful, I think everyone here will agree. Even the one win was a nightmare because I almost left the sports bar when we were up 14 points. With a defense like we've got we probably couldn't stop Alabama and only beat them by 10 points. Which is saying something because I think any NFL team should be able to beat the best NCAA DI team by at least 5-6 TDs. I want to watch this game, or follow it online, but I'm not sure I want to. I want this team, which I thought would go between 8-8 to 12-4, to do well. The past two games I've left early because they were out of hand. This time I left after we didn't recover the onside kick. Call me what you want, but I'm not a fair weather fan.

But there are things that I want to see, no matter how unrealistic they are.

I want CJ to run for 200 yards and 3 TDs. I want Locker to get healthy and lead us on a comeback. I want our defense to learn how to tackle. I want this team to do great things. We've had the toughest first 6 games of ANY team in the NFL. And while it looks like we're going to go down in infamy, I'm still going to watch the rest of the games. I'm still going to root for this team. I'm still going to go out to sports bars (I don't have cable) wearing my Titans jersey to rep this team. I can't attend games, but I would if I were in Nashville.

If we can somehow rally to salvage a 7 win season, I'll be happy. If we can turn this around even more and challenge for a playoff spot, I will be ecstatic. If on the other hand, we continue to fall, and we go down to a top 10 or, god forbid, a top 5 pick, we know that our future can only go up. But I know that this team will have a turn around. It may not be this year. It may not be the year after. But I will keep watching, and keep rooting, and keep being a fan of MY Tennesee Titans. Because I remember the pain of Super Bowl XXXIV, the pain of two losses to Baltimore in the playoffs, and the pain of this season. And from this we will rally. It's time to Titan up people. Let's keep the faith. Even for just a little bit longer.
