Hold your horses, and hear me out folks. This situation is rough...I was an optimist, and now I am in search of change. I do not want to see change on the offensive side of the ball save for the interior OL. Maybe Stewart, but I dont know enough. As far as I am concerned we are still on the hunt to replace Kevin Mawae.
The hc and the defensive side of the ball have to be carefully evaluated. If we think Munch can facilitate this drill, make him the guy in charge. This team needs a huge makeover defensively, and friends there is no better man for the job than Rex Ryan. I despise the Jets, but what he did there and what he did in Baltimore was absolutely amazing on the defensive side of the ball. If Rex will not be the coordinator, make him the head ball coach. There is no way he stays in New York too much longer, and we need this guy. Unless we bring in two fantastic passrushers, Rex will flat out turn this D around.
Whether we like it or not, the offense has taken steps forward. We may need a new guy in a year or two. Jake needs to grow, and I maintain that Palmer can do the trick, and if Jake does not become A-Rod light, this team will fizzle until 2020.
Would love some feedback folks. Who else could makeover this team? Defensive attitude?
Frankly I thought Chuck Cecil became black today, and I turned to the guy next to me at the bar and said, why the fuck is Kerry Collins wearing a Hass jersey?
