The Titans finally filled the roster spot that opened up when Zac Diles hit the IR by signing a linebacker whose name is familiar in the AFC South: Xavier Adibi. Drafted in the 4^th round by the Texans, and coached by current Titans LB coach Frank Bush, Adibi was a stud linebacker at Virginia Tech who never really established himself as a reliable starter in the NFL. Adibi was in camp with the Bears this year, but failed to make the final cut despite a great performance in the preseason finale.

As Jimmy noted on MCM Radio last night, the Titans released WR Vidal Hazelton from the practice squad and signed rookie Center from U of Miami (FLA), Tyler Horn.

Jason McCourty is the Titans’ new NFLPA representative, replacing Jake Scott, who had held the spot since Kevin Mawae was not invited back to the team.
